Principle of Products

HXBS metal single screw pump is a rotor-type displacement pump, which depends on the interaction of screw (rotor) and bushing (stator) to produce volume change in the suction chamber and the discharge chamber to transport the liquid. It is a kind of closed screw pump with internal meshing. The main working part consists of a bushing (stator) with double helical cavity and a single helical screw (rotor) in the stator cavity. When the input shaft makes planetary revolving around the center of the stator through the universal joint to drive the rotor the stator-rotor pair is in continuous mesh to form sealed cavity. The seal chamber makes uniform axial movement with invariable volume, delivering the pumped medium from the suction end to the extrusion end via the stator-rotor pair. The medium inhaled in the closed cavity flows through the stator without being stirred or damaged.

The inner surface of the bushing has double threads, and its arbitrary section is a long circle, and the two ends are semicircles with radius R (equal to the radius of the screw section), and the middle is a linear segment with the length of 4e. Any cross section of the bushing is the same long circle, but staggered with each other at an angle.

After the screw is inserted into the bushing, a closed chamber is formed between the screw surface and the internal thread surface of the bushing. At the same time, any section is divided into two crescent work chambers. As the screw rotates, the volume of the first chamber near the suction chamber gradually increases, forming negative pressure, and the liquid is sucked into the chamber under the action of differential pressure. As the screw continues to rotate and the chamber volume increases to its maximum, the chamber is closed and the liquid is pushed axially out of the chamber. At the same time, the upper and lower work chambers rotate in and out of the liquid, so that the liquid is continuously pushed from the suction chamber to the pressure chamber along the axis.
